Darcy is a freshman and this is her first time playing rugby, however her dad has been playing since college so she knows a lot about the game. She is studying secondary education and history with a minor in political science.

Kristy is a biology major with a particular interest in anatomy. She enjoys stargazing, campfires and ribbon dancing. Her perfect night would begin with a horse drawn carriage ride filled with philosophical discussions about the meaning of life followed by a late night viewing the heavyweights while sipping Yoohoo. You can find her as #13 on the pitch, but she’d like to be #1 in your hearts.
Chelsey is studying psychology at St. Mike’s. She joined rugby the spring of her freshman year and was the best college decision she ever made. She studied abroad in South Africa the spring of her junior year and was able to experience intense rugby culture. She is the mother of all SMC ruggers and is lovingly referred to as “Mom”. Chelsey would like to thank Todd Clever of USA Rugby for showing her how its done

Jaclynn went to Notre Dame High School in Fairfield, CT where she was on the Varsity Cross Country, Basketball and Softball teams throughout high school. She was captain of the basketball and softball teams her senior year. She is studying biology at SMC and joined the team the spring of her freshman year. She would like to thank her family for all their sacrifices throughout the years. Without them, none of her accomplishments would have been possible.

Erika is majoring in Elementary Education and Mathematics, in the hopes of becoming a first or second grade teacher. She cannot thank her parents enough for their constant support in the classroom and on the pitch. She hopes to be an inspiration for her sister by constantly striving for her passions. To her Saint Michael's College Women Rugby is more than just a team, it is a group of her best friends that plays hard and laughs harder! Jordan is an accounting major with a double minor in economics and finance. She joined the team the fall of her junior year after 16 years of dancing, looking for a change of pace. The 2010 undefeated season was a huge accomplishment for the team and she is proud to have had the chance to be a part of it. She thanks the team for an amazing 2 years and memories and her family for the support and ice packs.
Amelie is a biology major and environmental studies minor. She started playing the spring of her freshman year and before that had never seen a rugby ball. She would like to thank her dad for checking out library book after library book to try and understand her new found passion.

MK is a psychology major with a minor in music. She is also a member of the Saint Mike’s a capella group, the Aca Bellas. She was on the dance team her freshman year and was a captain her sophomore year.
Emily joined the team her freshman year and fell in love with the game. She was match secretary her junior year. Her favorite moment was beating Middlebury during the undefeated fall 2010 season. She is a political science and Spanish double major. She just returned from studying abroad in Argentina. She would like to thank her parents for all their support and for putting up with her for the past 21 years. She would also like to thank Charles for changing his mind about her being a back and moving her into the scrum. She also enjoys a good maul with Liane.

McNamara is majoring in Environmental Studies, but has a love for photography. Before last spring she had no experience playing rugby. She is now starting and loves the game. Previously she has played soccer, basketball and softball, and thought starting a new sport would be a great experience. She would like to thank her coach Charles Cisco for teaching her so much in a short time, and most of all thanks to her mom and dad, Jeanie and Mike, for being the absolute best and most caring parents in the world. “I love you!”

Pepi is a Psychology major with a double minor in History and Marketing. She started playing Rugby in the spring of her Freshman Year. “Hi my name is Pepi, please be my friend.”
Liane is a Spanish major and an Applied Linguistics minor. She has been playing rugby since the spring of her freshman year. She studied aproad in Chile last spring. She would like to thank Nicki Minaj for inspiring the 2010 undefeated fall season and continuing to encourage the SMC Ruggers to be the baddest on the pitch. She is a huge fan of good maul.

Cara has been playing rugby since the spring of her freshman year. Joining the team was one of the best decisions she has ever made. Cara is a Pyschology major and environmental studies minor. She studied abroad in South Africa and it was a life changing opportunity. She would like to thank J. Biebs for his inspirational songs and showing the world what a true man is.
